Kim Manson – 2025 QCH Excellence Award for Accountability

Meet Kim Manson, recipient of the 2025 QCH Excellence Award for Accountability.

The QCH Excellence Award for Accountability is presented to a person who promotes a culture of accountability that fosters transparency, honesty, and responsibility. They demonstrate accountability for their actions, decisions, and behaviours. They also positively influence others.

As an Occupational Therapist, Kim reviews and manages all the referrals for Rehab, TCU and Bruyere Complex Care.  She takes this job very seriously – strongly and effectively advocating for patients, ensuring she has a deep understanding of patient needs as well as regional policies and practices – proactively staying current on any changes, and making sure they are understood by the broader team.

She regularly goes above and beyond to help ensure patients get the supports they need in a timely manner.  She takes initiative to identify gaps or barriers in the system and actively works to improve the processes. She promotes a culture of quality improvement and accountability by modeling responsibility in her own work and supporting others who do the same.

Congratulations, Kim!
